My Money Marketplace (“MMM,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
When you use mymoneymarketplace.com, we collect the following categories of information:
- Information you provide directly. When you submit a lead form, request a match with a lender, sign up for emails, or use our interactive tools (including our matching quizzes), you may provide your name, email address, phone number, business name, loan amount, industry, time in business, and similar business details.
- Analytics and usage data. We use first-party and third-party analytics tools to understand how visitors use the site. This includes pages visited, time on site, referring URLs, device and browser type, and approximate geographic location derived from IP address.
- Cookies and similar technologies. Standard web cookies and tracking pixels allow us to measure campaign performance and improve user experience.
How we use information
The information we collect is used to:
- Match you with lenders. When you submit a lead form or request a match, the information you provide is shared with our primary partner lender (Lendmate Capital) so they can evaluate and respond to your application. This is the core service we provide.
- Communicate with you. If you opt in to our email list, we send follow-up emails about loan matching, relevant guides, and site updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Improve the site. Aggregate and individual analytics data help us understand what content is useful and where the experience could be better.
- Comply with legal obligations. We retain records as required by law.
Information sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following ways:
- With Lendmate Capital. Our primary partner lender receives the information you submit through lead forms so they can contact you about loan options. See our Affiliate Disclosures for more on this relationship.
- With service providers. Tools like Zapier (workflow automation), Resend (email delivery), and our analytics providers receive limited information in order to perform functions on our behalf. These providers are bound by their own privacy commitments.
- For legal reasons. We may disclose information in response to a subpoena, court order, or to comply with applicable law.
- In a business transfer. If MMM is sold or merges with another company, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, with continued protection under this policy (or an equivalent one).
Cookies and tracking
We use first-party cookies to remember your session, track lead-form completion, and improve site performance. Third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics) set additional cookies for aggregate usage reporting. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some site features may not work properly without them. You can also opt out of Google Analytics tracking via browser extensions or settings.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have specific privacy rights under laws like the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). These may include:
- The right to know what information we have about you.
- The right to request correction of inaccurate information.
- The right to request deletion of your information (subject to legal retention requirements).
- The right to opt out of certain types of information sharing.
- The right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at our contact page with the specific request. We may need to verify your identity before acting on the request.
Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Lead-form submissions are typically retained for the lifecycle of the matching relationship plus a reasonable period after. Analytics data is retained in aggregate form for up to 26 months.
Children’s policy
MMM is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), secure database storage, and access controls. No method of internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of the page. If the changes are material, we will notify you through email (if we have your email) or a prominent notice on the site.
